Consulting

JW helps clients to identify technical and cost-efficient solutions for marine HVAC-systems. Any kind of vessel, livestock carriers and converter platforms are in our repertory. Conversion and new builds

JW provides air-conditioning, heating and ventilation systems adapted to vessel, crew and cargo requirements. We deliver HVAC-systems for livestock carriers, yachts, cruise liners, river cruise liners, commercial vessels, supply vessels and converter platforms.

Commissioning

Our experience as design-engineers for ventilation, cooling, heating and energy systems supports us when it comes to commissioning a HVAC-system: We at JW know where to look for the critical parts. Precise measuring and testing to the highest engineering standards helps us to evaluate the functionality of a system.

Documentation and training

Let us help you to maintain the ventilation system and it’s components on board. We provide detailed service-manuals and training of the crew to guarantee smooth operation of all HVAC-systems. However, this will also help our customers to meet international and national regulations, e.g. AMSA-regulations for livestock carriers.

Expertise and troubleshooting

Missing a couple of degrees in temperature reduction? Having less air pressure than expected? JW offers deep understanding of HVAC-systems. We will identify faults or structural conditions that have not been considered first-hand. Especially when it comes to troubleshooting JW will help you with experienced engineering – “we can feel the air”, as a customer once put it.

Measuring

Exact data is essential for the design and installation of HVAC-systems but also for trouble-shooting when things go wrong. JW offers cooling and heating load measurement, pressure measurement, air-flow measurement and especially ammonia analysis concerning livestock transportation. We will provide specific measurement reports and detailed documentation.

Planning and detail design

JW will coordinate ducting and tubing for the whole unit and provide corresponding drawings. Excellent calculations are essential for successful detail design. But you can’t beat experience when it comes to the flow of air – we make sure cooled air gets to the “hot spots”.

Project and interim management

By delivering smart controlling and planning for your project – project management by JW will save you time and money. Close coordination with other subsections in the complex shipbuilding process prevents errors, helps to simplify the effort and will increase quality. We provide technical, supervisory, and managerial services necessary to meet our clients’ needs. Many years of experience give us a special understanding of what can go wrong on a project. JW therefore identifies potential trouble spots on a project before they develop into problems. But even the best planning becomes obsolete when the often feared changing requirements occur in the construction process – JW will take that as a challenge: There is always a solution.

Supervision

Our experience and engineering skills help to get things done.
